About the project
- Type of system (by-products / MSW): Biomethan production from by-products
- Location site: Municipality of Poggio Berni (RN)
- Site Area (m2): 80.000
- Power (Sm3/h): 500
This project illustrates the development of a modern biomass plant in Poggio Berni, in the province of Rimini. The facility is engineered to transform organic feedstock into renewable energy, ensuring a reliable production capacity of 500 Sm³/h.
Set across 80,000 m², the site integrates functional zones for feedstock intake, pre-treatment processes, anaerobic digestion, and biogas upgrading. Advanced monitoring and control systems oversee the entire operation, improving efficiency, operational safety, and environmental performance.
The installation stands as a sustainable energy solution that strengthens local agricultural resources and supports the region’s long-term ecological and economic objectives.
