About the project

  • Type of system (by-products / MSW): Biomethan production from by-products
  • Location site: Municipality of Poggio Rusco (MN)
  • Site Area (m2): 412.000
  • Power (Sm3/h): 500
This project highlights the development of a large-scale biomass facility in Poggio Rusco, in the province of Mantua. The plant is designed to process organic feedstock and generate renewable energy, ensuring a stable production capacity of 500 Sm³/h. With its extensive 412,000 m² footprint, the site accommodates all phases of the production chain, including feedstock reception, pre-treatment areas, anaerobic digestion units, and advanced biogas upgrading technologies. Integrated automation and monitoring systems enhance efficiency, operational safety, and environmental performance. The installation represents a major sustainable energy asset, supporting the agricultural sector and contributing to long-term regional ecological objectives.
